Patrizia Radici




PATRIZIA RADICI, graduated from the S. Cecilia  Conservatory of music in Rome with full marks, obtaining the "Bianca Boccia" scholarship as the best graduate of the year.
Student of Clelia Gatti Aldrovandi, in 1984 she obtained the High Specialization Diploma of the Courses of the National Academy of Santa Cecilia held by Elena Zaniboni.
From that year he began to carry out an intense concert activity, both as a soloist and with chamber ensembles, participating in important events and festivals in Italy and abroad (Spain, Switzerland, Belgium, Sweden, Austria, Greece).
From 1988 he began a regular collaboration with the Orchestra of the National Academy of Santa Cecilia with which in addition to the concert seasons he will take part in several tours in Italy and abroad under the guidance of the Masters: Maazel, Pretre, Giulini, Sinopoli, Chung , Chailly and Pappano.
From 1998 to 2010 he held the role of Principal Harp with the Orchestra of the Teatro Regio di Torino with which he also took part in the tours in China (Expo Shangay2010) and Tokyo with Maestro Noseda.
He has also collaborated with the Teatro alla Scala Orchestra and with the National Simphony Orchestra of the R.A.I
From 1997 to 1999 he played in duo with M. Niedermeyer principal  flute of the Wiener Philarmoniker with whom he performed concerts in Italy and Austria.
Very important  his collaboration with various composers of contemporary music for the re-evaluation of the expressive techniques of the instrument. (G.Battistelli, G. Campagnoli, F. Vacchi, M.Panni)
Alongside her concert activity, she has been teaching harp for many years at the Conservatories of: Naples, Cosenza, Palermo, Cuneo and Milan.
He currently holds the chair of Harp at the "G. Verdi" Conservatory in Turin.
